Planet Dragons
Planet dragons are completely dedicated to their sun dragon, which they orbit every day. They care for their sun dragon, feeding them, cleaning them, and protecting the from any predators that the sun dragon is vulnerable to. In return, they receive protection from many dragons that can't handle the sun dragons blinding light.
If the sun dragon perishes, the planet dragons will move to find a new one, and continue caring for that dragon until death.

Appearance
Planet dragons are a swirly mix of blues and greens, some more vibrant than others.
The Egg
The eggs are almost spherical, and can vary from perfectly smooth to completely bumpy. They tend to have fog surrounding them, almost like an atmosphere. They are only about 7 inches in diameter at the most.
Hatchlings and Adulthood
There is no visual difference between young dragons and adults except for their size. They start out very small and experience rapid growth in the first 2 years of their lives. Their growth gradually slows down, and they reach maturity at about 4 years of age. They continuously grow very slowly until death.
Determining the Sex
Male and females can only be differentiated with a DNA test.

Reproduction
Breeding
Planet dragons will usually spend their whole lives staying near and orbiting a sun dragon, typically mating with the same planet dragons that orbit the same sun dragon.
The Nest
Nests can be built in a variety of locations, from in shallow water to in trees. Their nests usually consists of a tight bundle of leaves and branches, or seaweed if built in water.
Laying Eggs
Laying eggs does not take long, as the planet dragon is eager to orbit her sun dragon. However, she will visit the nest daily and make any repairs as necessary.

Habitat
Living
Planet dragons will live wherever their is a sun dragon. If there is no nearby sun dragon, they will keep traveling to find one. There is only one documented case of a planet dragon staying in place despite there being no sun dragon nearby.
Collections
They do not collect, as they are dedicated to caring for their sun dragon.
Movement
Planet dragons leave the nest soon after their first major growth spurt, usually at about 4 months of age. They search for their own sun dragon.
Diet
They eat any bug and plant life nearby, always saving part of their meal for their sun dragon.
