Fílios was discovered soon after finding Solux. He is one of the planet dragons that was part of Solux’s herd. He was smaller than the other planet dragons upon discovery, so scientists estimate that he is now between 10 and 15 years old. 

After Solux’s death, the other planet dragons left. Fílios stayed behind, showing very unique behavior for planet dragons. Despite being observed for nearly 10 years, there is no solid evidence of a reason for him to stay. Since we now know his mother- Rodá- lives here, and his half siblings-Orainio and Tenebri- that could be the reason he sticks around.

Fílios is a reserved but confident dragon, allowing researchers to get to know him very well. However, he is also very stubborn- if he is not in the mood for human visitors, he will not hesitate to let them know.
